WELCOME TO OUR PROGRAM

Welcome to the Chilliwack River Valley Outdoor Learning Program!

We’re so glad you’re here. Our independent, nature-based education program offers children a chance to grow, learn, and thrive in the beautiful forests, rivers, and fields of Chilliwack, BC. Our goal is to spark curiosity, confidence, and connection through outdoor learning—one muddy boot at a time.

Who We Are

The Chilliwack River Valley Outdoor Learning Program (CRVOLP) is a fully insured, independent outdoor education program based in Chilliwack, BC. Our programs take place in Thompson Regional Park and other natural areas across the Fraser Valley.

We believe that place-based, experiential learning in nature supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and academic growth. Our approach is inspired by Forest School principles, local ecosystems, and BC’s curriculum goals.

Though we operate independently, we follow rigorous safety, health, and communication protocols, and are committed to inclusive, high-quality education. We are proud to be supported by the Fraser Valley Regional District and informed by best practices from leading outdoor education networks in BC and beyond.

Meet the Team

At the heart of the Chilliwack River Valley Outdoor Learning Program is a passionate and experienced team of educators who believe in the power of learning through nature. Our educators bring together professional training, personal outdoor experience, and a deep love for children and the land. Together, we support students in exploring, growing, and thriving—physically, emotionally, socially, and academically—through meaningful, hands-on learning in the wild.
